Hey if you guys ever get the chance to go down to Marathon in the Florida Keys, check out the Turtle Hospital! They were the first hospital in the world made specifically to help sea turtles. Many of their turtles suffer from boat injuries, trash ingestion, and tumors caused by water pollution. The wonderful people there rescue, heal, and release around 75-100 sea turtles a year. The ones that are unable to be released are kept in their facilities and serve as blood donors to other injured turtles. The Turtle Hospital is a non-profit organization and a lot of their money comes from tours so go see some lovely turtles or make a donation if you can!

I used to visit this place all the time when I was just a toddler - I loved it
